United Airlines announced that starting May 1, it will commence daily direct flights connecting Guam and Tokyo Haneda International Airport. This year-round service will establish a convenient and direct connection between Guam and the capital of Japan due to Haneda airport’s close proximity to the city center. With these additional flights, United further enhances its existing 32 weekly flights between Guam and Tokyo-Narita.
United intends to use a 737-800 aircraft for this route, accommodating 166 passengers with 16 seats dedicated to business class. The departure from Guam is scheduled for 19:00 local time, arriving at Haneda by 22:00 on the same day. The return flight will leave Haneda at 23:55 and reach Guam at 04:45 the following day.
United Airlines is providing over 87 weekly flights from Guam to a total of 14 destinations, and remains the sole airline that connects Guam with Japanese cities like Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya, along with various islands in the Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, and Palau.
