Twin Cities Women's Expo Under New Leadership

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Buffie Blesi, award winning business owner, Minneapolis Chamber Board Member and owner and CEO of We Spark Growth has acquired the popular event and plans to steer the expo in an exciting new direction for her inaugural year.

For her commitment to small businesses in Minnesota, particularly those started, owned and run by women, the Small Business Administration Minnesota District Office named Blesi “Women Small Business Champion 2017”.

Blesi is also the Executive Director of the Minnesota chapter of NAWBO, The National Association of Women Business Owners. In addition to helming the annual Hall of Fame Ceremony for NAWBO, Blesi also produced the 2017 Marcom GOLD Award winning short film, “DARE”.

While the mission of the Twin Cities Women’s Expo will continue to be to “Enrich, Empower and Enlighten Women” the 2018 Expo will also focus on the idea that “The Future is Female” and will feature speakers and exhibits from a wide variety of women’s experiences including work, family, relationships, wellness and community engagement.
