Toyota Supergirl Snow Pro Announces Olympic Riders, Entertainment Lineup for Snowboarding Contest and Festival March 17-18, 2018

BIG BEAR, Calif., March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — ASA Entertainment today announced the confirmed roster of top-ranked snowboarders who will compete in the Toyota Supergirl Snow Pro St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, March 17-18, 2018, at Bear Mountain Resort. Among the field of more than 100 competitors are the entire US Women’s Olympic Boardercross Team, including 4-time Olympian and 10-time X-Games Gold Medalist, Lindsey Jacobellis, who will co-host the event alongside Olympic Halfpipe Gold Medalist, Hannah Teter. Admission to the event is free and includes access to the Festival Village with entertainment and activities throughout the weekend, including live concerts headlined by Cody Simpson & The Tide, a female DJ competition, athlete meet-and-greets, and more.

The Toyota Supergirl Snow Pro will showcase the best of women’s snowboarding in a contest completely designed by the riders, including a top-level boardercross (SBX) course and a unique retro-style halfpipe competition that includes elements like rails, jibs, tombstones and throwback obstacles where riders can showcase their creativity in a jam-session format.

Supported by both the USSA and the USASA, the field of pros will include many of the top-ranked snowboarders in the world, including Jacobellis, Teter, 3-time US Olympian Faye Gulini, and US Olympian Meghan Tierney.

The event was designed not only to showcase the best female snowboarders on the planet, but also to serve as a developmental contest to help scout, nurture, and mentor the next generation of aspiring female snowboarding pros. Scores of top amateurs will be competing alongside their heroes in a one- of-a-kind Pro-Am format.

In addition to Cody Simpson, other free concerts include Jordyn Jones, Cailee Rae, and local Big Bear favorite, Nikki Sparks.

“In addition to seeing their favorite Olympic athletes compete, attendees can also enjoy a weekend at Bear Mountain that’s jam-packed with family-friendly, free entertainment, from concerts to DJs and a panel discussion where several athletes reminisce about their Olympic experiences,” said Rick Bratman, CEO of ASA Entertainment, the event’s production company.

The event will run on Saturday, March 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
