Tourist attraction in Udaipur

Udaipur also known as the “City of Lakes”. It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar.  Udaipur is a popular tourist destination and is known for its history, culture, scenic locations and the Raj put-era palaces. It has five lakes surrounding the city.

1). Fatah sager lake

Fatah Sager Lake is situated in the city of Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Udaipur Lake Conservation Society’s reports indicate that the lake supports and sustains ground water recharge, drinking water, agricultural use, industrial use, ecological water availability and provides employment to 60% population of Udaipur.

2). Lake Pichola

Lake Pichola, situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. The lakes around Udaipur were primarily created by building dams to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of the city and its neighborhood.

3). Swroop sager

Swaroop Sagar Lake is situated in the city of Udaipur in the Rajasthan state of India. It is an artificially created lake, named after Maharana Swarup Singh of Udaipur. This lake was built to avoid water congestion, and to balance the water level in the connecting lakes, namely Fateh Sagar Lake and Pichola Lake.

4)  Rang sager

Rang sager is a very beautiful lake in Udaipur city. This lake is connecting to all lakes. Rang sager has all side cover the hotel and very beautiful view.

5). Doodh Talai Lake

He Doodh Talai Lake is located very much near the center of the Udaipur City. Doodh Talai Lake shares a common link road with another picturesque attraction Lake Pichola. Doodh Talai is surrounded by small hillocks which hosts Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park, and Manikya Lal Verma Garden (or Rock Garden or Musical Fountain Garden). Doodh Talai Lake provides few options for fast food centers, camel and horse rides and boat ride.
