This admission-free venue will feature space artifacts and rare photographs from the extensive private collection of The W Foundation (operator of The Space Station Museum). Space education programs are also planned throughout the summer in the Palace’s small theatre. This privately funded, volunteer staffed exhibit is open Tuesday – Sunday (10am-5pm).
Since its founding in 2011, The Space Station Museum has seen over 105,000 visitors and hosts an annual event called Novato Space Festival. The museum has also been featured in media such as The Travel Channel’s Emmy award-winning show, “Mysteries at the Museum.”
There is a ribbon cutting ceremony planned on July 8th at 1pm with legendary astronaut Al Worden.
