Protective Accessory for Hats and Caps Invented by InventHelp Inventor (SDB-1179)

PITTSBURGH, March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — An inventor from Murrieta, Calif., has developed the SAVE A HAT, an attachment designed to be positioned on various articles of headwear, including baseball caps, in order to absorb perspiration, odor, oil and dirt. A prototype is available.

“My job as a manager of an apparel store inspired me to develop my idea. Also, a friend of mine won’t wear a baseball cap-style hat because of the sweat and dirt that collects on the inside. With this attachment, individuals won’t have to worry about the sweat and dirt,” said the inventor.

The SAVE A HAT provides wearers with added comfort as well as a more sanitary head covering. It protects the head covering from discoloring stains. This will, in turn, increase the life of the head covering. This attachment will appeal to anyone who wears hats and caps, especially during the warm summer months.

The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
