Innovation and design are the driving and uniting forces of the Mercado 2017 companies. Highlights include Brabbu and Delightfull, furniture designers who created the furniture for “Fifty Shades of Grey”; Revigres, the ceramic tile company behind the black and white Estée Lauder showroom floors; and MoreTextileGroup, which recently launched “Dynamic Color” textiles that change color with heat sensitivity, bringing a whimsical aspect to bed linens.

The AEP is the primary business association in Portugal working to reflect Portuguese competitiveness through establishing enterprises, business associations, and joint-ventures; facilitating the European incentive systems; supporting innovation; and providing mediation and legal support.
