Forbes Travel Guide, the only independent, rigorous global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, unveiled its 66th luxury Star Awards Winners for 2024. This is the third year in a row that Malta, an archipelago in the Mediterranean, was included in this prestigious Forbes Travel Guide list of luxury properties around the globe. The 2024 Forbes Travel Guide lists eleven luxury properties in Malta, one more than in 2023.
The 2024 list has awarded one Maltese property with a 5-star rating, the Iniala Harbour House and four properties with 4-star ratings based on their high levels of service and the quality of facilities including Corinthia Palace Malta, Hyatt Regency Malta, The Phoenicia Malta, The Westin Dragonara Resort. Six Maltese properties are listed in the Recommended category, rated for being excellent properties with good facilities and consistently good service, include AX The Saint John Boutique,Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa, Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Golden Sands, Rosselli – AX Privilege, Hilton Malta (newly added to the 2024 list) and Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, in Gozo.
