Lytton Rancheria of California Donates $1 Million to Houston Mayor’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

“Our Tribe is deeply saddened by the destruction and loss of life that this horrific hurricane has caused,” said Lytton Tribal Chairperson Margie Mejia. “It is the Lytton Rancheria’s deepest hope that our donation will help the Greater Houston Community Foundation provide critical assistance to those affected as Houston begins to rebuild and regain its strength.”

During discussions with Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner, Lytton Tribal Chairperson Margie Mejia expressed the Tribe’s concern for the well-being of the citizens of Houston and offered support during this challenging time. Mayor Turner expressed his appreciation for the donation from the Lytton Rancheria.

The Lytton Rancheria of California and San Pablo Lytton Casino are committed to aiding programs whose efforts significantly impact the underserved, especially during times of great need. Over the last several years, the casino and Tribe contributed over $18.5 million to such programs.
