Lockton adds David Ring to Sacramento team

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Lockton has added David Ring to its team in Sacramento, naming him a vice president. Ring will be responsible for client consulting and business development for employee benefits and commercial insurance. Lockton is the world’s largest privately held independent insurance broker.

Ring has specialized in advising clients in the banking, financial services, manufacturing and agriculture sector in California’s Central Valley. He focuses on structuring sustainable property-casualty and employee benefits programs. He has been with Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. for the past six years. Previously, he led his own golf industry business for 24 years and also worked for RJR Nabisco. He has a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University where he played running back for the Aztec football team. He is also a PGA golf professional.
