Jamaica Tourism Minister lobbies for partnerships at World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit

Jamaica Minister of Tourism, Hon. Edmund Bartlett, (seen left in the photo) makes his presentation at the two-day World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit 2017 which began in Bangkok, Thailand, on Wednesday, April 26.

There, the Minister announced that a major outcome of the “UNWTO, Government of Jamaica and World Bank Group Conference on Jobs & Inclusive Growth: Partnerships for Sustainable Tourism” will be the creation of a Montego Bay Declaration, which will be used as a road map to strengthen public-private-partnerships and enhance donor funding and investor engagement.

The global conference is slated to take place in November at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.
