Jamaica Hails IMEX America 2024 as a Big Success

Representatives for the “One Love” island met with over 450 planners at the annual meetings and events trade show in Las Vegas.

Continuing to demonstrate its appeal to groups, Jamaica was popular among MICE planners attending IMEX America, one of the premier global trade shows in the meetings and events sector, from October 7-10 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The “One Love” island welcomed hundreds of attendees to its booth, offering opportunities to learn about ongoing developments, programs, offers and initiatives relevant to the group business market as well as what to expect in the years ahead.

The Jamaica Tourist Board team met with over 450 planners through one-to-one meetings and also hosted a reception in partnership with Meeting Professionals International (MPI), offering a taste of what’s new and exciting in Jamaica for MICE professionals. Jamaica’s partners that participated in IMEX America and were featured in its booth included: AmStar DMC; Half Moon; Hilton Rose Hall; Hyatt Zilara / Hyatt Ziva; Island Routes; Jamaica Tours Limited; Main Event Jamaica; Montego Bay Convention Centre; Ocean Coral Spring and Ocean Eden Bay; Princess Senses The Mangrove and Princess Grand Jamaica; and Tropical Tours.
