PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — “I wanted a fast and easy way to troll for fish without having to drill holes into my boat to secure some type of rig and without having to use multiple holders,” said an inventor from St. Louis, Mo. “My personal need led me to come up with this efficient solution.”
He created a prototype for the patent-pending TROLLIN BUDDY to hold two to four fishing rods for trolling. The unit covers a larger area of water to maximize the chances of catching fish. The device enables users of all skill levels to fish with multiple rods. The invention eliminates the need to drill holes in the boat to mount a rod holder. Additionally, it is designed for quick and easy setup, as well as collapsible for ease of storage and transport.
The original design was submitted to the St. Louis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
