Bangkok, 18 May, 2021 – Cross Hotels and Resorts and Italmar (Thailand) today began the construction of the 102-key Cross Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station, a joint venture between the two companies signed in 2019.
Mr. Direk Vongvairoj, Chairman of Italmar (Thailand), said he believed that despite the pandemic there was no need for the construction to be postponed.
“There is no better time than now. The industry will bounce back and with Cross Hotels and Resorts and its distribution, we believe that once travel resumes, we will be able to welcome our guests both returning ones and new, back to both of our hotels,” Mr. Direk said.
With the construction of the Cross Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station, Italmar (Thailand) now owns two Cross Vibe properties, in addition to Cross Vibe Bangkok Sukhumvit.
Mr. Harry Thaliwal, CEO of Cross Hotels and Resorts, said, “I have extreme confidence in what our Cross Vibe brand can deliver, and we will see its success replicated at Cross Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station.”
Cross Vibe Bangkok Udomsuk Station is slated to open in Q4 2022. It will offer not only a place to rest, but also abundant working space with a connection area, co-working space, trendy business centre, lifestyle café, fitness centre and rooftop pool.
