Countdown to the “Abysso Calypso Party” in Valletta

Experience a preview of Costa Cruises’ Sea Destinations in partnership with Visit Malta.

A premiere of the “Abysso Calypso Party” organized by SMSMondial in partnership with Costa & Visit Malta, will take place in Valletta on Saturday, May 18.

The long-awaited party represents a preview of the exclusive Costa’s ‘Sea Destinations’. Guests will be plunged into an enchanting scene of the deep sea, experience only available to Costa guests who will be cruising on board Costa Fascinosa starting from July. The event will be held at the spectacular Saluting Battery in the Upper Barrakka Gardens starting from 7 pm. 

Attendees will be welcomed with a colorful set from Malta’s famous Versatile Brass Band and treated to a mix of musical styles such as pop, jazz, and techno, all culminating in a huge, custom-made projection on the ramparts of the Fort St. Angelo, just across the harbor. On the same occasion, the cruises of Costa Fascinosa from Malta available for booking throughout summer 2025 will be launched with special discounted prices as well as free onboard credit vouchers offered only for bookings made on this particular evening.

Costa Cruises chose Malta for this launch in recognition of the company’s longstanding bond with such a fascinating island, which goes back around six decades when Costa ships first started calling at Valletta’s majestic Grand Harbour.
