Each Rare Cask is a single tierçon (a large oak barrel) that contains treasured collection of eaux-de-vie from the Cognac Grande Champagne terroir, has a unique aromatic profile and alcohol content, and is presented in stunning black crystal decanters made by the master craftsmen of Baccarat. With the new LOUIS XIII Rare Cask experience, guests of The St. Regis Venice can sample the exquisite cognac of which only a limited number of decanters are available in each collector’s edition, as well as enjoying fine dining, luxurious water taxi airport transfers, butler services, and other exclusive perks.

Housed in a collection of five palazzi, the oldest of which is the 17th-century palazzo Badoer Tiepolo, The St. Regis Venice has been challenging convention for centuries, while maintaining its legacy by meticulously blending innovation, art and luxury to curate every guest moment from arrival to departure. In addition to RARE CASK 42.1 experience, The St. Regis Venice is unveiling the RARE CASK at an exclusive event in the hotel’s Arts Bar. The launch event will take place on Monday, April 15th and will be attended by special guest Anne-Laure Pressat, Executive Director of LOUIS XIII Cognac. The evening will include welcome Champagne and canapés followed by aperitif, an exquisite main course, and a special presentation of the LOUIS XIII RARE CASK 42.1. To conclude the event, guests will enjoy indulgent dessert and live music in one of the city’s most elegant bars.
