Brunch Essentials Elevated at Hilton Singapore’s Ultimate Sunday Champagne Brunch

February 28, 2019 Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE – Wake up to a perfect Sunday looking forward to two things: a scrumptuous brunch feast and the free flow of Taittinger Champagne. Boasting one of the best brunches in the city, brunch aficionados will be taken on a glorious food retreat by Hilton Singapore’s Executive Chef Kazi Hassan (otherwise known as the hotel’s Resident Brunch Advocate) with his re-creation of brunch essentials. The spread focuses on gourmet and seasonal ingredients from the eight live stations of ocean-fresh seafood bar, prime meat carvings, a dedicated seasonal cheese room with more than 30 imported European cheese and artisanal handcrafted desserts decked on the six-metre-long D9 dessert showcase starting this March.

Drawing inspiration from his childhood years spent in Australia and travels from around the world, the new additions to the six à la minute gastronomy stations encompass choices that are seasonal, natural and luxurious all at once, spotlighting on dishes such as:

  • 14-hour slow-roasted Australian Wagyu beef leg carving.
  • Foie gras brûlée with toasted brioche and pineapple lemon jam.
  • Homemade waffles with crispy duck, fried duck egg and mustard maple syrup.
  • Premium Japanese grain rice with slow-braised Wagyu short ribs, foie gras, runny onsen egg and freshly shaved truffles.
  • King crab ravioli with shellfish espuma, giant ikura and chive oil.
  • Stone-hearth oven-baked pizza with black truffle, Fontina and Taleggio cheese, artichoke, prosciutto and more.

As with any quality brunch, diners can expect an ocean-fresh seafood and oyster bar brimming with Alaskan king crabs, Maine lobsters and a variety of freshly shucked oysters from Canada, Ireland and France. While cheese lovers should set aside space for the popular dedicated cheese room that features more than 30 types of imported European seasonal cheeses, including a live Raclette cheese station. Complement the cheese experience with a variety of exotic cured meats and ham from the charcuterie station featuring Jamón Ibérico ham, lomo, saucisson sec, rosette ham and more.

Brunch is incomplete without a sweet indulgence. Look forward to the limitless rounds of artisanal handcrafted desserts from the six-metre-long dessert showcase at D9 Cakery featuring the signature Hilton cheesecake, homemade cakes, macarons and pralines. The kids or kids-at-heart will be entertained by dessert stations such as a grilled s’mores bar and a gelato popsicle station where they can design their own popsicles with homemade gelato flavors. Double up the Sunday food retreat with unlimited rounds of Taittinger Champagne, beer and selected red and white wines for a fitting finale to the weekend.
