Multigenerational travel is 2018’s top travel trend with the top 10 family travel trends being beach resort stays, active or adventure trips, cultural immersion, and educational trips, according to Virtuoso. Providing guests with each of those experiences and much more, The Buenaventura is perfect for families with its four-bedroom villas and suite options, nine restaurants and bars, seven swimming pools, and a two-mile beach to keep grandparents, couples, teens and young guests entertained from morning to night.
From now through December, The Buenaventura is providing affordable luxury for travelers with new luxury packages which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, standard open bar and taxes in a double occupancy, a visit to the resort’s Wildlife Center, and the use of water sports. With cuisine being an important element to The Buenaventura experience, families booking the Endless Luxury package will enjoy the chef-driven restaurants that offer farm fresh ingredients and an innovative take on classic Panamanian dishes.
“Meeting the increasing demand for offerings that include all meals, we created the Endless Luxury package for families to reduce the hassle of purchasing many separate meals during vacation” said Carmen Chen, Director of Marketing at The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort. “Our goal is for families to enjoy and take advantage of the many on-property activities without having to worry about their meals and this package takes care of that for a more relaxing time together.”
Newly launched activities will be available through December 20 for families visiting the resort with complimentary experiences like scavenger hunts, outdoor camping under the 100-year-old Corotu Tree by the lobby, movies and games by the main pool, pick-up soccer games at the Sports Complex and mixologist classes for adults at the swim-up bar. Special experiences such as cookie and cupcake making classes with the pastry chef, mini golf tournaments, horseback riding and nail painting workshops for girls at the spa require a small fee to enjoy. Custom-curated tours and activities are also available for families to immerse in the destination’s ecosystem, cultural sites and gastronomic offerings. Guests can choose from bird watching at El Valle de Anton, to discovering archaeological sites at El Caño and Sitio Conde, to rum tasting at Hacienda San Isidro, to rainforest canopy tours, ATV expedition, pontoon boat ride, diving, windsurf, fishing, and many other family fun activities.
