Bottle Rocket's Excellence in Android Development Recognized by Google Three Years Running

DALLAS, Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Bottle Rocket announced today it’s been named a Google Certified Agency for a third year in a row. Bottle Rocket has been rewarded each year the program has existed with Certified Agency status for our continued commitment to excellence in Android development. In 2018, the Google Developers Certified Agency Program has recognized only 19 mobile development companies in the United States, up from 13 agencies globally when the program began in 2016.

To be awarded this exclusive distinction, agencies must apply annually for inclusion and are required to prove their merit via live, in-market Android development work. Google reviews app store ratings, contacts notable clients, and evaluates the use of the latest features and toolkits available from Google, including services like Google Assistant and Machine Learning.

As stated by Google’s Global Programs Lead for Google Developers, David McLaughlin, “Google recognizes the impact these agencies have on the overall app ecosystem globally. The more streamlined we can make their work, the more high quality apps that are available on handsets for everyone.”

Those awarded the honor of Certified Agency receive training on the latest Google APIs, development tools, and best practices for implementing the latest Android has to offer and early access to use features and tech before they are even announced to the public. Additionally, Google opens a direct channel for one-on-one online support and gives preferential selection to Certified Agencies when seeking work and demos to showcase at events. More recently, Google invited representatives from each agency to visit the Google campus and hear what the tech giant has planned for 2018.
