Returning this summer to Malta, the hidden gem of the Mediterranean, BBC Radio 2 and the BBC Concert Orchestra will host a celebration of one of the most music defining decades, the 80s.
This event with world class musicians will take place at the Granaries in Floriana, Malta on Saturday, July 5.
World class musicians will sing the biggest hits of the decade with tracks from legendary artists including Madonna, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Queen, Wham!, Elton John, Bryan Adams and many more.
“This year’s theme, Ultimate 80s, will be yet another opportunity to showcase Malta’s ability to host unforgettable experiences in iconic locations, reinforcing our position as a premier destination for quality tourism,” said Malta’s Minister for Tourism, Honorable Ian Borg.
CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority, Carlo Micallef, added:
“Events like this play a key role in diversifying Malta’s entertainment landscape, offering a dynamic experience that appeals to a wide range of audiences.”
