Barbados Cruise Activity on the Upswing

The Caribbean island nation of Barbados also received 11,718 stopover arrivals from Canada in January 2024, up 15.2% compared to the 10,171 received in January 2023 as well as 14,531 stopovers from the USA, up 6.0% from the 13,708 received in January 2023.

Barbados received 31,336 stopover arrivals from the United Kingdom in January 2024, and 69,384 stopover arrivals overall for the month of January.

The island of Barbados is a Caribbean gem rich in cultural, heritage, sporting, culinary and eco experiences. It is surrounded by idyllic white sand beaches and is the only coral island in the Caribbean. With over 400 restaurants and eateries, Barbados is the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean.
