Antigua and Barbuda Art Week 2024 Supports Youth Development Initiatives Through Partnership with Nolan Hue Foundation

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has partnered with the Nolan Hue Foundation, a social enterprise dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of youth empowerment in Antigua and Barbuda, for the second edition of Antigua and Barbuda Art Week  running from November 27 – December 3, 2024.

The foundation believes in the transformative power of art and its ability to connect communities, foster talent, and build a brighter future for youth.

As part of the partnership, the Nolan Hue Foundation will host a silent auction during Art Week 2024, allowing attendees to bid on a curated selection of artwork from talented artists. Proceeds from the auction will go towards vital youth development initiatives.

Commenting on the partnership, Marketing Communications Manager at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, and member of the Art Week committee said, “Welcoming the Nolan Hue Foundation as a partner for Antigua and Barbuda Art Week is truly exciting. Their mission of using art as a transformative force within our community is one, we whole-heartedly embrace. We are eager to see how working together, the Art Week platform can inspire positive change.”

The Nolan Hue Foundation CEO Regis Burton said:

“The support of the public will not only inspire the next generation of leaders but also contribute to our 2025 youth development initiatives, helping to shape a brighter future for our community.”

The auction will take place at Antigua and Barbuda Art Week exhibits and events during the week, providing an exciting opportunity for art enthusiasts to acquire unique pieces while supporting a worthy cause.

Art Week events include Expressions of Art and Fashion: the art and fashion exhibit being held at the V. C. Bird International Airport from November 27 – December 3, Rhythm and Vibes Artist Showcase, on November 29 at Hodges Bay Resort and Spa, and Canvas and Cocktails: the immersive art and elevated mixology experience on November 30 at Casa Palmadita.

All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Nolan Hue Foundation’s youth development initiatives, which include educational programs, art workshops, and scholarships for aspiring young artists. By participating in the silent auction, bidders not only gain access to exceptional art but also contribute to empowering the next generation of creative leaders.

Details about the silent auction and the available art pieces, will soon go live on the Nolan Hue website: http://auction.nolanhue.com . Join us in making a difference through art and supporting the development of our youth.
