TONIGHT: Findlay Galleries & The Art Students League of New York Present “Ronnie Landfield: A Conversation with the Artist” on Facebook Live

NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Findlay Galleries is pleased announce that tonight’s interview “Ronnie Landfield: A Conversation with the Artist” will be streamed on Facebook Live.

Artist Ronnie Landfield shares recollections of the 1960s: of his early days exploring the galleries of 57th street, of dining at Max’s Kansas City, and of his first major collector, architect Philip Johnson.  Ronnie recounts his journey alongside the artists who had come to live and work in New York during the ’60s, exploring his development as a painter and his contributions to the emergence of Lyrical Abstraction.

The program will be an interview, moderated by the new executive director of the Art Students League, Michael Rips.  It will be streamed live on Facebook and will conclude with questions from attendees and the on-line audience.
