SAUDIA Unveils Innovative Sustainable Activation at the 2023 Hankook Rome E-Prix

These races take place in Rome from July 15-16. As the official airline partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 9, SAUDIA is excited to support this thrilling motorsport event.

SAUDIA was named the Official Airline Partner of the all-electric series in 2018. The partnership was recently reinforced by the nomination of Belgian current Formula E World champion, Stoffel Vandoorne as the SAUDIA Global Ambassador for the 2023 season. Stoffel debuted in Formula E racing at the Diriyah E-Prix in 2018, further strengthening the airline’s association with the Championship.

SAUDIA is set to have a significant on-ground presence during the multiple Formula E races all around the world this season, showcasing the innovative Discover E-Zone which gives fans the opportunity to discover the sport like never before.

Designed using AirClad technology, the main structure of the Discover E-Zone is reusable and uses lightweight materials to reduce its carbon footprint whilst being shipped to Formula E race locations around the world. This activation feeds into SAUDIA’s passion for providing best-in-class services while driving innovation and sustainability-focused initiatives, as the E-Zone also offers a digitally driven interior which helps engage fans and increase their understanding of the sport.
