Hilton Addis Ababa completed its soft refurbishment in various parts of the hotel that begun in May 2018 and was executed in phases. The refurbishment was carried out in the guest rooms and suites, Kaffa Restaurant, the executive lounge, the ballroom, coffee ceremony and public areas.
The refurbishment will ensure greater comfort with a combination of the new and the old in the guest rooms and suites whilst projecting colour and local inspiration in the public areas. The hotel designers included state-of-the-art fittings with a touch of Ethiopian rustic charm. The vibrant all-day dining area at Kaffa House, which draws both local and international cuisine, was refurbished with the colour and design tone of the garden around it. The lobby bar now has new lighting features, a variety of seats including banquet and high stools and follows the same colour design as the all-day dining area. All in all, the hotel, including the executive lounge, has an extensive design with various colour tones creating a relaxed ambience with bigger spaces.
The hotel is a winner of Ethiopia’s Leading Hotel for five consecutive years (2014-2018) at the World Travel Awards.
