Parents can enjoy the mild Mediterranean climate – around 70 degrees on average between September and November – plus the extensive facilities at the hotel. For the kids, all the hotel’s dining options are family friendly with dedicated children’s menus, and the Apollo Spa has a children’s menu of mini treatments.

With mild sea temperatures during the fall, swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling are an option as well. Back on land there is a beach volleyball court, and a five-strong pool complex with a children’s pool.

There are heaps of things to do on the island as a family including visiting the Malta National Aquarium, Playmobile Fun Park, Popeye Village, go-karting, or just joining in one of the many events that that take place in in the fall.

Notte Bianca, Malta’s biggest annual culture and arts festival taking place this year on October 1, is the perfect event for families, featuring music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Birgufest in Vittoriosa, another great fall event for families, celebrates the culture and art of the Maltese Archipelago. Held from October 12-14, 2018, visitors will be able to experience historical re-enactments, while all the streets and houses are lit up with candles. Additionally, most museums and historical buildings will open at discounted prices during Birgufest. ZiguZajg, an international arts festival geared towards children and young people featuring professional performances and interactive exhibits, will take place between November 16-25, 2018.
