Current scratch-off games offer prizes ranging from a free ticket to $3 million. Scratch-offs winners claimed a record of more than $1.9 billion in prizes last fiscal year.
Before purchasing any game, players should review and understand the rules, prizes remaining and specific chances of winning found at palottery.com. The overall chances of winning any prize vary by game and are printed on the back of each scratch-off ticket. Overall chances are expressed across all tickets produced in a game and not by tickets sold per pack.
Chances of winning are not influenced by where a ticket is sold. Random distribution of tickets ensures the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. Scratch-offs prizes must be claimed within one year of a game’s posted end-sale date.
