Online MBA Today Releases Ranking of Top 10 Online MBA Programs in Hospitality

HOUSTON, March 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Comprehensive guide to online MBA programs, Online MBA Today (http://www.onlinembatoday.com/) has published a new ranking of the ten best online MBA programs in Hospitality (https://www.onlinembatoday.com/rankings/best-hospitality-mba/).

For this ranking, approximately 470 online and hybrid MBA programs were evaluated to determine whether or not the program offered a good business management foundation along with an extended offering of courses focused on hospitality. Each program was then ranked according to the following four factors: 1) its estimated online MBA tuition cost; 2) whether or not it has regional and business accreditation; 3) its estimated early career salary; and 4) its prestige. This data was gathered from the most recent and publicly available sources, including the National Center for Education Statistics, PayScale’s 2016-2017 College Salary Report, US News and World Report’s Online MBA Ranking, the Princeton Review’s Online MBA Ranking, the Financial Times’ Global Online MBA Ranking, and Quacquarelli Symonds’ Distance Online MBA Ranking. All data was gathered for each online MBA program, weighted equally at 25%, and then was averaged to find the ranking order for the top online MBA programs in hospitality.

Placing first in this ranking is Washington State University’s Carson College of Business in Pullman, followed by East Carolina University’s College of Business in Greenville, North Carolina at second place. Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business in Boca Raton, Florida placed third.

Other schools making the ranking include (alphabetically ordered):

Fort Hays State University W.R. and Yvonne Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship—Hays, Kansas
Husson University College of Business and Management—Bangor, Maine
