Museum of Dog Now Open in the Berkshires

NORTH ADAMS, Mass., Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Museum of Dog announced today that it will present “Come See About Me: Daisy” as part of the upcoming ArtWeek festival happening April 27–May 6, with Daisy’s exhibit continuing through October 2018. Hundreds of events will be presented across the Commonwealth during the 10-day creative festival.

ArtWeek is an award-winning innovative festival featuring hundreds of unique and creative experiences that are hands-on, interactive or offer behind-the-scenes access to arts, culture, and the creative process. Now an annual statewide festival, ArtWeek was born in Boston in 2013 and recently expanded its footprint across the Commonwealth.

Museum of Dog’s, Come See About Me: Daisy exhibit, shares the fun-loving story of a sweet, highly energetic rescue dog. From her huge foster home letters to her self-created sculptures and other art forms, you’ll feel the wind in your face and a song in your heart. Experience her beloved Jeep (Wrangler) and the movement that inspires her. You can dance to the beat of the music and relive the joy you’ve felt from every dog you’ve ever met.  

Museum of Dog (M.O.D.) is a tribute to dogs everywhere. Housed in the antique hardware store building, formerly Quinn’s Paint and Wallpaper, just blocks from Mass MoCA. It is the newest addition to the many cultural attractions in the Berkshires.  

M.O.D. houses an inspiring collection of dog memorabilia ranging from antique dog collars to Wegman photographs and everything DOG. Jesse Freiden (Massachusetts), Carolyn Carr (Atlanta) and Kathy Ruttenberg (New York) are a few of the artists included in the museum’s permanent collection.
