THE HOUSE

To the back of the house is a new construction, at a slight elevation and there are 3 rooms that have been built with common corridor to sit and enjoy the view of the trees and the plantation around. The rooms are comfortable and clean for double  and triple occupancy, but can easily accommodate 4 people. From here, you can admire the view, drink your coffee or generally relax with a book.

Basic but clean accommodation (no A/C) together with a amazing experience are what we can offer, either you choose to do any of our activities or just relax with nature.

Trailheads for numerous treks as well as the fabulous country side makes it ideal for the adventure sport lovers and nature lovers alike. Mekanagadde Homestay has loads to keep you engaged with best activities in Chikmagalur. As you walk through the vast area with coffee plantations, forests, betel nut trees, spices and catch the early morning sunrise you wonder if you have entered a haven. Hornbills and many other birds are found in and around. It is set in foothills of beautiful South Indian Western Ghats, known for unique wildlife and very sensitive regions of the world. There are other tourist places to visit in Chikmagalur which ranges from temples, public waterfalls, hills etc.
