To enjoy the service, travellers must access one of two connection platforms provided by Renfe and SNCF through Play Renfe, on the routes Lyon-Barcelona and Marseille Barcelona-Madrid, or Le Wi-Fi, on routes Paris-Barcelona and Toulouse-Barcelona.
Through said connection platforms, clients will be able to access 4G connectivity and to enjoy various digital contents depending on the platform (such as films, books, games and music) and on-demand information about timetables, fares and buying tickets.
Renfe-SNCF services link Barcelona, Girona and Figueras with Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Carcassonne, Marseille, Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence or Valence.
If starting from Madrid, Zaragoza or Tarragona, clients can travel to Marseille, Avignon or Aix-en-Provence passing through the southern French cities of Perpignan, Narbonne, Montpellier or Nimes.
The two leading high-speed rail operators have joined forces to offer all their know-how and experience to international travellers.
Each company gave ten high-speed trains to this project (TGV Euroduplex and AVE S-100 models), and cooperated in the process to certify the trains and crews.
They also set up a joint marketing and sales strategy to offer a single product.
