Songtsam will once again be the Presenting Sponsor of Asia Week New York March 16-24, 2023

Once again, Songtsam will continue as the Presenting Sponsor of Asia Week New York for a fourth consecutive year.

Songtsam, award-winning luxury boutique hotel collection and Destination Marketing Company located in the Tibet and Yunnan Provinces of China, will be sponsoring the annual Asia Week New York spring event that will take place from March 16-24, 2023.

Dessa Goddard, Chairman of Asia Week New York, said “We are honored that Songtsam is the Presenting Sponsor of Asia Week New York,” says chairman Dessa Goddard. “We appreciate their commitment to Asian art and culture and are grateful for their continued support.”

“Songtsam is delighted to continue its sponsorship of Asia Week New York.”

Florence Li, Songtsam’s Director of International Sales & Marketing, added, “As a devoted enthusiast and collector of Chinese, Himalayan and Southeast Asian art, Baima Duoji, the Founder and Chairman of Songtsam Group, is committed to maintaining the synergy between our luxury brand and Asia Week New York.”

Mr. Baima Duoji, Chairman and Founder of Songtsam, began collecting art long before he opened his first hotel, Songtsam Lodge Shangri-La, next to the famous Songzanlin Monastery in Shangri-La. In fact, Mr. Baima’s personal collection is used to decorate many of the Songtsam properties on the Tibetan plateau, making each hotel a private art museum. The Songtsam Linka Retreat Shangri-La houses the Songtsam Tibetan Art Museum. Mr. Baima’s private collections are housed on the Museum’s first floor, and they all focus on “craftsmanship and wisdom.” Songtsam’s support of Asia Week New York enables it to fulfill its commitment to share the beauty of humanity’s imagination and creativity with people all over the world.
