Air Austral, the airline partner was also present for the three-day roadshow.

This year, the roadshow stopped over three main cities of Reunion – St Pierre, St Gilles and St Denis. During the three days, around 50 travel agents and tour operators came to meet the trade partners from Seychelles.

The representative of destination management company Mason’s Travel Lucy Jean Louis said the roadshow was a good chance to update the agents about the destination and motivate them to continue selling the islands.

Seychelles European Reservation representative Daniella Payet Alis has hailed the success of the roadshow adding that the demand from travel agents to sell small properties in Seychelles is on the rise.

She said the working sessions with the travel agents have been fruitful as attractive combined packages of two to three islands have been proposed to Reunion market along with Air Austral’s special air fare rates for the market (Gadiamb).

Erica Tirant from Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort&Casino acknowledged that through the roadshow, Seychelles is getting to be well known on the Reunion market.
