The Top 25 list was released in the July issue of Special Events Magazine, an international resource and premier magazine for special event designers, producers and suppliers. The magazine’s annual “25 Top DMCs” feature recognizes destination management companies around the world that are leaders in the industry and in the destinations they operate. DMCs were selected for inclusion based on their annual revenue, service capabilities and number of events produced annually.
RMC has been making headlines in recent months with numerous announcements and awards, including industry veteran Rhonda Brewer being named RMC President, recognition as a Top 100 Women Owned Business, ranking as a Top 100 Colorado Company, and named Best in State for Utah, among others.
“Being identified as one of the ‘biggest companies in the know about the best seats and eats in every place worth visiting’ is a huge honor,” says Rhonda Brewer, President of RMC. “We’ve worked hard to become a leading destination management company that offers authentic experiences to our clients. This award is a credit to our team members, our partners and our vendors. We value all of these relationships and recognize that they are critical to our success and our mission to be the premier provider of luxury destination management services in the United States and Mexico.”
Brewer says the demand for corporate events has expanded over the past two decades as organizations have recognized that giving employees and executives experiences in spectacular locations is both rewarding and beneficial for their business. “Relationship building, creativity, and re-charging are just some of the many positive outcomes from meetings and incentives, and our role as a DMC is to deliver exceptional experiences and service. As demand grows, space is becoming limited and businesses are expecting new ideas for events, venues and activities. That challenge fuels our team and leads us to new levels of creative inspiration.”
In the Top 25 article, Special Events Magazine wrote that the “watchword for RMC is “Consistency. RMC’s leadership team is structured to oversee all 400-plus programs with the same attention to detail, no matter which office you are operating your program in.”
RMC: Resorts Mountains Cities was founded in 1989. From its first location in Aspen, Colorado, RMC has expanded to 10 renowned destinations across North America and Mexico, serving multiple locations.
