PYYROS Reinvents the Flashlight

PYYROS is redefining the industry by becoming the “swiss army knife” of the flashlight industry. Adam Nichols, wanted to create a single tool that can be used in any emergency situation as well as for everyday use and for any outdoor activity. Through his experience in the military, and his experience in the great outdoors, Adam noticed that in every emergency situation three elements are always needed; light, fire and power. PYYROS delivers these three elements, and do so much more. We have integrate a screw driving kit, a USB recharging generator, an iodine water purifying table module and a stainless steel hammer cap. In addition, empty modules are available to customize even further the PYYROS.

PYYROS is the only flashlight in the world to be 100% modular and expandable making it possible for everyone to build a custom PYYROS. Each device is built with aviation grade aluminium T-606, a 1000 lumen LED flashlight, a Panasonic Lithium Ion 3400 mAH rechargeable battery, a USB 2.0 port in case of emergency and a stainless steel hammer cap. Modules can be added to further customize the Pyyros.

We pushed the envelope one step further by developing a miniature dual band Personal Beacon Locator 100% compliant with the international COSPAS – SARSAT standards. Thanks to the 121.5 MHz emergency frequency and the digital 406 MHz satellite frequency, search and rescue units can locate anyone anywhere on the planet. The PYYROS PBL measures a mere 1″ high by 1″ diameter and transmits its signal during 24 hours in temperatures from -20celcius to +55celcius.
