The rooms were opened in a disused part of the station and the grand unveiling coincided with National Stations Day on Monday.
Staff will receive training in a mock-up of Caledonian Sleeper’s new carriages, which will be introduced to the line in May, and a fully operational galley.
There is also an auditorium, conference room and office space, with plans to open this up to groups in the city as a meeting space.
Ryan Flaherty, Serco’s managing director at Caledonian Sleeper, said: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do.
“These new facilities will allow us to grow our people, helping them to learn new skills and improve our already excellent hospitality offering.”
The guest lounge, at the rear of platform seven, will be open exclusively to passengers travelling on the Caledonian Sleeper.
The company says the lounge will create a space for relaxing before or after travelling and there will be a host on hand to serve drinks and snacks.
Passengers can also access new wet rooms in the lounge for showering after overnight travel from London.
Ryan Flaherty said: “We are committed to ensuring guests have the best possible experience in all aspects of their journey.
“That’s why this investment is so important. It will allow our guests to relax in comfort ahead of boarding or to refresh themselves once they step off the train in the morning.”
The guest lounge is one of five new lounges that have been created in Scotland this year, with others at Stirling, Dundee, Fort William and Leuchars.
Caledonian Sleeper’s improvements to Perth Railway Station was part-funded by the Railway Heritage Trust and the company hopes it will prove popular with business travellers who use the service to get to London in time for early-morning meetings.
