PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (PNG Post-Courier, May 25, 2017) – The PNGTourism Industry Association Inc. with the support of its sponsors will be holding its inaugural Hospitality Expo from 24 – 25 May 2017 at the Crowne Plaza in Port Moresby.
The goal of the Expo is for exhibitors to create connections with the domestic market – corporates, suppliers, travel companies, airlines etc.
Our major centres have become M now.I.C.E. hubs for both regional and national events; by meeting the respective domestic trade the exhibitors can find out about upcoming plans and events for the domestic market.
The Hospitality Expo offers the exhibitors a chance to attend information sessions to obtain up-to-date info on standards, policy, business and regulations solutions.
The hospitality sector may be the largest sector in the tourism industry that’s highly unregulated. The expo is really a big step of progress to addressing such issues and can help us identify how exactly to assist in improving the sector’s standards.
The two-day event will dsicover the 24th May because the information sessions and the 25th May from 9am-12pm will undoubtedly be “Available to Schools&rdquo and Public; and from 2-5pm will undoubtedly be for the Trade ONLY.
