Cebu Pacific is expecting delivery of at least five more A321neo aircraft this year to support its expansion.
Cebu is also set to receive five Airbus A320neo aircraft leased from international aircraft leasing company Avolon, as well as an additional ATR 72-600 aircraft, in 2019.
The latest delivery brings the total number of aircraft in the Cebu Pacific fleet to 72.
With a capacity of 236 seats, the A321neo has 31 per cent more capacity through the Airbus Cabin Flex fuselage modification that allows for more seats without compromising on cabin comfort.
The seats are ergonomically designed by world-renowned manufacturer Recaro with more legroom between rows.
Each seat is also equipped with a USB port that enables passengers to charge their mobile devices inflight.
Equipped with the latest technologies and industry reference cabin design, the Airbus A321neo delivers 20 per cent fuel cost savings alone.
The A320neo also offers significant environmental benefits with nearly 50 per cent reduction in noise footprint compared to previous generation aircraft.
The Cebu Pacific A321neo aircraft is powered by the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine, which has the ability to reduce fuel burn by 16 per cent, to reduce NOx emissions by 50 per cent and to lower the noise footprint by 75 per cent.
