Soccer fans who don’t make it to FIFA World Cup 2018 can watch live streaming of the games in the comfort of specially created World Cup areas at two Corinthia Hotels, in Budapest and St Petersburg.
At Corinthia Budapest, the hotel has created Sky Lounge, which spans the terrace area of the hotel’s Grand Ballroom. Built for all weather, it has seating and TV screens inside and out of a huge central geodesic dome.
The area is a real fan zone, with ice-cold beer, csocso (table football), World Cup cocktails, delicious grilled dishes and hamburgers, as well as an a la carte menu from Executive Chef Peter Bolyki. The hotel team will also get in the mood and wear referee uniforms.
At Corinthia St Petersburg, the hotel’s Atrium restaurant on the first floor will open a Sports Bar starting on June 11, 2018. Open daily from 2pm until late, it will serve cocktails, beer, and light snacks for the cheering football fans.
Moreover, soccer fans may be lucky enough to bump into one of their favourite soccer stars in the host city from the hotel’s centrally located vantage point.
