Corinthia Hotel London unveils the transformation of the Garden Lounge into a magical, scented secret garden, by two-Royal Warranted floral alchemists, Shane Connolly & Co. in celebration of London Craft Week.
Shane Connolly and Co. has created a growing installation in the Garden Lounge of the Hotel for the duration of May where guests can enjoy Corinthia’s new afternoon tea service or a summer cocktail surrounded by stunning fragrant foliage.
“We were delighted to be introduced to Corinthia Hotel London, a magnificent hotel which shares our passion for craftsmanship and authenticity. For the installation we have drawn inspiration from the Matilde Jonquiere mosaic frescos, adding tumbling climbers and sweetly scented herbs and geraniums, and have created a delicate floral installation around the bar,” commented Shane Connolly Founder of Shane Connolly & Co.
Corinthia Hotel London embraces exceptional designers, craftspeople, artists and architects, combining grandeur and heritage. In line with this passion for craftsmanship the new Afternoon Tea service features an especially commissioned line of Richard Brendon bone china and the finest Baccarat crystal Champagne flutes. A variety of fine teas, meticulously selected by an on-hand tea sommelier, complement the exquisite selection of intricate patisserie inspired by the bespoke tableware.
