British tourist narrowly escapes head-on collision with a lorry as trucker tries to overtake cyclist on a bend – and sends the rider flying to the verge

A British tourist narrowly avoided a head-on collision with a lorry following a trucker attemptedto overtake a cyclist on a bend.
Luke Wiffen, from Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, filmed the clip on his dashcam as he was driving across the N619 in Belgium.
In the video, a blue truck is seen driving on the incorrect side of the street since it approaches a blind bend.

As the lorry realises he could be going to hit another driver, he pulls in, evoking the cyclist to belong to a grass verge
Mr Wiffen’s car and the lorry come within mere feet of colliding with one another because the impatient HGV driver pulls directly into avoid a collision.
He may then be heard breaking hard and honking his horn, before exclaiming: ‘F****** t***.’
According to Mr Wiffen, the dangerous manoeuvre forced the cyclist to belong to the grass verge and pushed him off his bike.
He admitted that following the incident he was left ‘shaking’ and that the cyclist, who he followed to check on if he was okay then, was also ‘shaken up’.
Luke posted the clip on Facebook with the caption: ‘Near at once with truck that removes cyclist. Day just what a wonderful end to the. In my own mirrors I saw the cyclist on the grass.
‘Did the Cool Solutions truck stop? Did he f***.

Luke Wiffen, who filmed the clip, may then be heard breaking hard and honking his horn, before exclaiming: ‘F****** t***’
‘Which cut back memories of when I was initially on the scene to a horrific vehicle cycle smash a couple of years back.
‘By enough time I was from the car, he was and on his bike again up. Thank heavens.
‘I turned around and swept up with him to check on he was ok. I was called a “true gentleman” – now there is a first.’
The clip has been viewed a lot more than 4,week 000 times since Mr Wiffen uploaded it last.
Mr Wiffen said: ‘[The cyclist] was a little shaken up. I offered him the film but he refused it as he wasn’t hurt.
‘The truck didn’t hit him because he crashed off in to the grass in order to avoid being squished.’
