PITTSBURGH, March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — “I was sitting in my lawn chair on a sunny day, and I had to hold an umbrella to shade myself from the sunlight,” said an inventor from Niagara Falls, N.Y. “I thought that there should be a hands-free holder for an umbrella that I could use with my lawn chair.”

He developed the patent-pending BRACKET TO HOLD UMBRELLA TO CHAIR to conveniently hold an umbrella in an upright position. The accessory shields the user from rain and inclement weather. This keeps the user dry during rainstorms. The device also protects the user from the harsh UV rays of the sun. The design keeps both hands free to do other things. Additionally, it offers added peace of mind. These brackets were made to fit a 6-foot beach umbrella with a 1-inch shaft.

The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
