Corinthia Hotel Budapest has launched a new service for drivers of electric cars. Two car charging points have been created in the hotel’s garage for the convenience of guests and non-residents alike. Free to use, it is one of the first such stations operated by a hotel in the country.
Hotel General Manager Jean Pierre Mifsud said: “Promoting environmentally responsible means of transport is a high concern in Corinthia Hotel Budapest.”

The charger is suitable for alternating current (AC) charging and easy to access via the Corinthia E-Charge mobile app which supports both iOS and Android devices. Opening the app will begin the charge, while an automatic push notification is sent when the charge is finished.
Two cars can be charged at the same time – by using either the built-in cable, or the car owners’ cable.
